Sheherazade, named after the fabled narrator of 'Tales of 1001 Nights', was born in Jerusalem. She grew up in New York, London and Jerusalem and speaks English and Arabic. In 2021 she auditioned for the BFI-funded feature film 'A House in Jerusalem' and secured the role of Rasha, a young ghost who unexpectedly encounters the new owners of her family home. Filmed on location in Jerusalem, Bethlehem and London during corona virus restrictions, it premiered at the Rotterdam film festival in January 2023. She now lives in London and takes weekend drama, dance and singing lessons at the Sylvia Young Theatre School.
